Sales representative required for our Landscaping division
We are looking for an experienced media sales person with a proven skill set spanning print media and digital platforms to develop our growing media portfolio within the Landscape and Groundscare industry.
A self starter you must be capable of working to deadlines, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
You will have excellent communication skills – written, spoken and interpersonal – and be confident and relaxed when making cold calls, sales calls and in face-to-face meetings. You will also possess the personality and skills to network at industry events.
Working autonomously in sales but closely with editorial staff your role will involve contacting existing customers from an already established warm database of clients as well as sourcing leads and generating new business.
You will be responsible for selling advertisement space and sponsorship across our media portfolio including print magazines & web platforms, inserts, sponsored content and specialist publications. You will be involved at all levels in negotiating and presenting bespoke print and digital advertising solutions to key decision makers over the phone and occasionally face to face. Working to revenue targets and deadlines, you will be responsible for dealing with a range of customers from SME’s to corporate clients within a defined territory.
To apply for this role you will require a demonstrable track record of advertising sales from either the magazine or newspaper sector. You will have a solid track record of developing new business and managing a range of existing accounts. You will be an articulate self-starter who can demonstrate the ability to work autonomously. You must have a proactive and creative approach to sales negotiation and possess the drive and commitment to succeed in this exciting role.
