Hamlin Knight is currently recruiting for a Property Administration and Liaison Officer to join one of Coventry's largest private student landlords with a portfolio of high quality, contemporary, purpose-built student properties, along with recently renovated traditional properties. This is a permanent position initially paying £19-20,000.

The main purpose of this role is to look after the finance function with due care and responsibility and to have full day to day responsibility for the company's administrative functions and to liaise with existing and potential tenants in the course of the letting and management of the property portfolio.

Duties will include:
* Fully managing utility bills and council tax to ensure the company does not incur unnecessary costs. Fully managing the deposit protection and return process.
* Processing termly rent payments using SagePay

* Taking responsibility for ensuring rent due is paid on time and due process is followed to recover monies when necessary.
* Drafting tenancy agreements

* Processing and diary management of lettings paperwork Post in and out of the office
* Filing and other general admin
* Signing up new tenants and completing all the necessary checks and paperwork. Conducting viewings
* Dealing with queries from tenants by phone and email Meeting, greeting and inducting tenants
* Completing regular house inspections Taking meter readings
* Completing inventories
* Capturing maintenance requests and passing these onto the maintenance team in a timely manner

The successful candidate for this role will have experience of working within an administration / finance role, delivering a service and dealing with external customers and clients including handling complaints or difficult situations and a strong attention to detail. A UK driving license and own transport is required for this role.
