Supply Chain Administrator - FMCG
Up to £24K DOE + company benefits

My client is a global foods producer with a reputation for quality & innovation and due to expansion they are recruiting for Supply Chain Administrator to join their team. The Supply Chain Administrator will be the first point of contact for all direct and indirect vendors. They will champion a customer-service approach to visitors to the site.They will ensure the efficient movement and processing of inbound and outbound goods, including inbound inspections of raw materials and packaging, processing paperwork and updating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

•Responsible for processing all inbound / outbound delivery paperwork.
•Liaise with MRP, Customer Service and 3rd party Logistic Partners regarding timings of collections and deliveries.
•Liaise with vendors, taking booking slots for inbound deliveries.
•Issuing and reconciling cycle counting.
•Data Entry of information onto the company ERP system.
•Inspection of Incoming Raw Materials and Packaging brought onto site.
•Ensure purchased goods are to agreed specifications, identifying and communicating any deviations with relevant parties.
•Upkeep and general review of Approved Samples & Sample Area.
•Maintain an accurate log of inspections undertaken, actions carried out and reports.

Skills and Experience:

•Previous experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•Previous inbound material inspection / warehouse administration experience.
•Strong communication skills.
•Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Office.
•SAP B1 experience is preferable, but not essential as full training will be given.
•Good organisational skills, able to work under pressure and attention to detail.
•Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Located on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border this role is commutable from Stafford, Newport, Telford and surrounds
