Student Activities Administrator

A Students' Union base in Coventry are looking to recruit a Student Activities Administrator to maintain the administration of the Student Activities Team, including society events and sporting entries, fixtures and transport.

This role will be a first point of contact for student enquiries.

As a Student Activities Administrator you must be an enthusiastic and a proactive individual who has excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple calendars. You will have experience of working in a busy administrative environment and excellent literacy, numeracy and computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of Higher Education Sports and Societies and experience of coordinating and marketing events would be advantageous.


  • Level 2 qualifications in numeracy and literacy (e.g. GCSE maths and English)
  • Equivalent qualifications of Level 3 which demonstrate proven numeracy, literacy and keyboard skills
  • A broad range of office experience in a busy working environment, which must include highly skilled administrative duties and clerical work
  • Experience of dealing directly with internal and external clients/customers
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience of working with databases and bespoke systems

This post is working full-time 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
