We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join an exciting, award-winning B2C company based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to this companies’ growth and this role is crucial for on-going success. The main responsibilities of this role include planning the marketing strategy, marketing plans, managing budgets and campaign management. A key part will be to measure these plans in order to drive awareness, engagement and conversion through customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar full marketing mix role and be able to lead and encourage a small team! This role will suit an ambitious, creative, commercially minded candidate who understands the importance of ROI!


  • Management skills
  • Playing a key part with the management team on strategy and overall business performance
  • Budget Management
  • Create detailed annual marketing plans with clear performance measures to drive awareness, engagement and conversion through customer acquisition and retention
  • Work with the editorial teams to maximise customer acquisition from their existing audience to potential new customers
  • Be a brand ambassador for the company making sure to represent the company’s values and key messages at all times
  • Develop and implement an effective CRM approach
  • Organise and plan consumer exhibitions (only a few of these per year)
  • Ensure consistent and effective marketing communication through all channels
  • Continuously researching and developing your knowledge and understanding of the customer base
  • Initiate and develop traffic generation campaigns across multiple channels using Social Media, SEO, PPC methods.
  • Analyse performance, report and offer improvements to optimise on-going campaigns
  • Manage the marketing budgets and monitor the expenditure ensuring maximum ROI.


  • Previous experience in a similar marketing role for at least 3 years
  • B2C Experience
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and managing deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident team manager
  • PR exposure is a bonus
  • Understand of Google Analytics
  • exposure to developing and managing SEO, SEM and social media campaigns
  • Experience of managing fast-growth brands across multiple channels
  • A proven track record of success in creating high growth B2C markets
