This is an excellent opportunity to join a national business keen to recruit an ER Advisor / HR Advisor to work in its shared services environment.

As the ER Advisor / HR Advisor you will provide a 1st class service to employees and managers providing advice and guidance on a wide range of employment issues. This is your opportunity to join an organisation where you can really make an impact and build a long-term career.

On a day to day basis as the ER Advisor / HR Advisor you will:

·Provide full advice and coaching on ER Issues, T&Cs, redundancies, reward, performance management and practices and procedures.

·Provide advice, guidance and coaching to managers on how to follow best practice, processes and associated risks

·Manage cases from inception to completion

·You will be the first point of contact and steer stakeholders through correct procedure and company best practice, advising at all stages and ensuring that all discussions and actions are progressed in a timely manner.

·Provide recommendations on service and process improvements

·Support on projects as required

ER Advisor / HR Advisor - Key Skills Needed:

·Extensive experience of managing ER Issues and have a good knowledge of employment legislation

·Thorough understanding of applying HR policies and procedures within in the areas of employee conduct, sickness and absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary, investigations, dismissal

·Detailed knowledge of employment legislation and its application within the defined areas

·Have provided guidance and coaching via telephone, email, reports, interviews, in person to line managers

·Able to build relationships quickly, influence stakeholders and push back when required

·Highly organized, able to manage your own workload.

·Worked within a large business
