JOB DESCRIPTION FOR: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (Lifting Equipment)
HOURS: FULL TIME 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
THE COMPANY: Established in 2003, our client is a family-run business supplying Vacuum lifting equipment, parts and components into industries such as Glass, Metal, Wood and Concrete.
Based locally in the Midlands, our clients' in-house design and manufacturing team produce bespoke vacuum units suitable for specific applications, in addition to "off the shelf" units suitable for most handling requirements.
THE ROLE: Our client is seeking to appoint an Electrical Engineer/Lifting Equipment Engineer to join their team. The successful applicant will be assembling and servicing the Vacuum Lifting Equipment at our clients' premises in Shrewsbury as well as covering breakdowns and inspections at sites across the UK.
Are you/Do you have;
- LEEA accreditation
- IPAF licence
- CCNSG certification
- Forklift qualifications
- Experienced in the materials handling industry
- Familiarity with and able to work from electrical and pneumatic diagrams
Key Responsibilities of the job role to include: -
- Assemble vacuum lifting equipment
- Service vacuum lifting equipment
- Attend breakdowns of equipment on customer sites
