We are delighted to be working with this privately owned, well established, successful, and innovative engineering business. Our client is renowned in their industry supplying both the distribution and end user with highly engineered products.

Based in Willenhall, they have recently overhauled and invested heavily in their production facility; implemented slicker processes and procedures that have resulted in a better-quality product, and an engaged workforce.

In order to support these strategic growth plans we are supporting our client in finding a highly effective Planner/Expeditor. This is a pivotal role to the continued success of the business as they enter new markets and develop new processes.

Working within the Supply Chain team, you will be a key part in maintaining stock levels, planning production schedules and chasing orders to ensure high levels of service in relation to orders being delivered on time in full (OTIF). You will communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure you have the relevant information and data, and externally with suppliers to ensure materials are being delivered on time.

You will build an ongoing relationship with all customers, sub-contractors and Sales representatives to make sure that the project is smoothly running according to schedule, and to ensure that delivery will be possible on the agreed date.

As Planner/Expeditor you must be ready to solve problems and issues such as late materials, delayed testing or sub-contract work etc. The successful candidate will:

Have proven experience of production scheduling/expediting in a engineering/manufacturing environmentBe customer focusedBe able to hold you own in a production meeting and ensure that all parties are working to realistic timescales.Have excellent Microsoft Office Skills, especially Excel.Have the ability to achieve delivery date set targets and work towards 100% delivery scheduled adherenceHave the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentHave strong attention to detailIf you believe you have the relevant experience, can demonstrate impressive achievements in your career to date and are ambitious to drive personal, team and company success, then please apply for immediate consideration.
