JOB TITLE: Brands Manager DEPARTMENT: Sales REPORTING TO: Sales Manager THE ROLE: To assist in the development and management of key brands for a market leading hydroponic supplier. THE PACKAGE: Salary range £20k to £24k pa plus annual £3k bonus, fully expensed company car, pension, life insurance and health care cash plan. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor sales trends closely Work closely with key accounts and maintain their sales Responsible for key brand ranges Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies Work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure that all marketing and sales strategies are supported Promote, evaluate and report upon the effectiveness of different marketing channels Monitor competitor activity To monitor costs of all marketing activities making sure it stays within agreed budgets, and report on return on investment Develop strong consumer and product awareness Conduct proof reading and copy writing Develop the Brand awareness by visiting new & existing accounts to gain more market share Visit shops regularly to gain feedback from customers and end users, and to ensure products and marketing materials are displayed in correct way Manage all printing and branding, making sure POS is installed on time Monitor and manage social media activity Liaise with the Sales Reps to ensure that customers are communicated to in a timely manner Manage work effectively to achieve deadlines Carry out monthly sales analysis Adhere to Brand guidelines to make sure the Brand maintains consistency in the market Monitor brand pricing strategy THE PERSON To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate the following key skills: Sales driven, enthusiastic, self- motivated and hard working Ability to work as part of a motivated and target driven team Have strong IT, literacy & numerical skills Well organised, flexible and able to work on multiple projects at one time Excellent written and verbal communication and be able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business Ability to carry out extensive sales analysis Have a general interest in plants and how they work Good attention to detail and accuracy The ability to work under pressure and to hit deadlines Be a good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research Be results driven and have a good initiative A car driver, confident travelling across the country
