Supply Chain Planner (FMCG) Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum + pension A leading global FMCG client are looking to recruit for a Supply Chain Planner to join their in-house Procurement team. You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the supply chain are coordinated efficiently and accurately. The Role: You will be tasked with ensuring all aspects of the supply chain are coordinated efficiently and accurately, playing a key role with the overall coordination of order output on time and in full. Responsibilities: Control of stock including control of the supply chain, stock management and logistics. Ensuring that stock checks are completed, are accurate and are communicated effectively. Ensure that stock availability is communicated and acted up on. Ensure that stock is allocated correctly. Analyse customer orders and provide timely feedback to the Operations Manager and Production Supervisors. Ensuring that Production operations are fully aware of order requirements in a timely manner. Liaise with the relevant departments regarding clearance and inter-site transportation of produce arrivals. Tracking supplier performance and providing analysis on a weekly and monthly basis. The Person: The successful candidate for the Supply Chain Planner role will possess the following experience: Ideally degree educated or equivalent - Desirable 2 - 3 year's experience gained from working in the food manufacturing / production sector - Essential Experience of production operation / planning processes - Essential Previous experience of coordinating the day to day management of an MRP system - Essential Experience of monitoring / tracking supplier performance - Essential Proven experience of working to strict deadlines with the ability to accurately and methodically multitask - Essential Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook - Essential WorkForce manufacturing are responsible for placing several hundred dedicated operatives out to work every day across the West Midlands.
