Our client is looking for a Hr Operations Manager to join their team based In Warwick

Their role would be focused around management of resources and staff and would involve two main strands:

  • Weekly management of resources (staff) across the offices in Hatton, Birmingham and London. This would mean:

Maintaining a strategic overview of all projects across the offices

Gaining an understanding of how these projects and their teams are structured, resourced and managed

Gaining an understanding of the skills in house

Sitting down with the senior team each week to discuss resource requirements and agreeing who has capacity and where best to deploy people based on skill set and capacity

Plugging in new work

Weekly discussion of any staff problems/ concerns

  • Managing staff across all three offices to ensure people are meeting or exceeding their professional and personal development goals or targets. This would involve:

Meeting regularly with all staff members (monthly rotation) to chat through workload, personal development goals, issues affecting work performance

Feeding back to the senior team any issues arising

Helping staff to feel motivated, engaged and happy at work

Helping staff manage their day to day tasks to ensure work is completed on time. Helping to prioritise work so that crucial tasks are done first but not forgetting less urgent work/ personal development goals

Developing team members through feedback, listening and mentoring of staff. Suggesting specific training tailored to individual staff at an appropriate time

Induction of staff on joining and being a point of contact for any issues relating to work or life balance

Responding to issues that may arise from time to time and resolving the matter so that it doesn't affect the performance of the wider team. For example a long term absence or personal problem
