Are you a Quality Technician or team leader looking for a new challenge? Do you have proven experience of working within the automotive or similarly fast paced industry? Due to winning significant long term orders, a new position of Quality Technician is sought to ensure control within the companies manufacturing area.

Quality Technician
Salary £21 - £23,239 (Inclusive of shift allowance)
Worcestershire; Commutable from Worcester, Droitwich, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Redditch, South Birmingham, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham

O Conduct dimensional review of incoming production components using historical information to ensure all parts are inspected or reviewed in a timely manner
O Update product audit reports and input dimensional data
O Identify component concerns and non-conforming material reports
O Maintain day to day goods inspection and investigation activities
O Through dimensional verification, approve/reject supplier PPAP samples in accordance with automotive samples
O Support internal and external calibration activities

The successful Technician will have the following skills/experience:
O Proven metrology skills and theoretical knowledge in the fundamentals of precision measurement
O Ideally, apprentice trained in an automotive manufacturing environment
O Experience in the use of inspection measuring and test equipment
O Familiarity with IAFT 16949

The Company

This is a newly created position to lead performance and quality improvement within their supplier base. This will be a challenging but rewarding role for a professional Automotive Quality Engineer seeking a new opportunity.
