This is a newly created role to support the growth of the brand into new categories and the acquisition of new customers. The primary remit of the role is to manage and deliver the annual event calendar.
A growing FMCG business in the Midlands, with a well-known portfolio of brands.
The main duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
Develop and deliver an annual events calendar for the UK and key international countries.
Manage the booking, planning and production of all events - both B2B and B2C.
Work closely with the sales team for identifying the right trade expos and managing budgets, against the ROI of their customers.
Work closely with the Head of Marketing to identify the right events, aligned to both the marketing plan and wider commercial plan.
Working with the content managers and social software to identify the performance of the events and report back into the marketing dashboard.
Be innovative with ideas and work with third party agencies to deliver best in class events.

Experience in a senior marketing events role, ideally in an FMCG business
Management or an understanding of digital and social strategies
Working with external agencies at top to top and on day to day basis
Personal ownership of events and campaigns
Understanding of and exposure to international markets
Hands on style with ability to be both strategic and tactical
Excellent self-motivating and interpersonal skills
