Your new company

My client are a national FMCG business with operations throughout the UK and an impressive portfolio of household brands.

They are now looking to hire an experienced, Senior HR professional to lead their HR and Payroll service delivery teams, reporting into the HR Director, responsible for a team of 5.

Your new role

As Head of HR Service Delivery, you will deliver thought-leadership, support and challenge to the HR Director to support the development and delivery of the and UK People Strategy whilst developing, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of the HR service delivery plans to ensure delivery of a best practice and fit-for-purpose HR service across the UK businesses

You will work collaboratively with business and HR colleagues to identify and shape HR strategies, practices, procedures and to continually develop the UK organisation and provide an internal payroll service to the UK businesses, rationalising multiple complex payroll runs and streamlining to be administratively efficient and meeting the needs of the customer.

You will lead, develop and motivate a diverse team of high calibre, technically proficient experts to ensure delivery of high quality and efficient HR services to internal customer groups whilst managing and monitoring individual and team performances to ensure team/business services are delivered in line with agreed objectives, standards and regulatory requirements.

You will select and manage a network of suppliers/partners to ensure delivery of consistent, effective and quality expertise in line with global, regional and local business requirements, driving the development and production of management information, analysis and reporting that supports and informs timely and effective business decision making.

You will coach and develop HR colleagues in aspects of HR Service delivery Work closely with Group Reward team to influence the design and delivery of Group-led solutions and to plan and execute appropriate UK roll-out.

The role will cover 4 main sites in the UK so regular travel will be required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be able to demonstrate experience in developing organisations through a focus on centre of excellence, HR processes and systems with previous exposure to managing a payroll function. You will be able to develop and ensure the successful delivery of strategic priorities and plans, including payroll management in manufacturing environments.

As Head of HR Delivery, you will also manage the pension scheme, working closely with third party providers and pension trustees whilst sourcing and negotiating supplier / partnership arrangements.

What you'll get in return

The role attracts a salary of between cGBP50,000-GBP65,000, a company car/allowance and a generous benefits package.
