New business development and Account Management. Wagstaff Recruitment have experienced 50% growth in sales since the move to our new offices in May this year. To support continued growth, we are looking for a commercially aware, customer focused, new business development professional to join our team in Lichfield.

Previous recruitment experience is not necessary but experience within a sales role is, you must be able to generate new business. Our success has been built with people who understand business challenges and can work with customers to build trusted relationships ultimately delivering a high-quality recruitment service. Experience of technical sales, new business development and account development is essential.

Core skills and competencies required:

The ability to work in a sales, target orientated environment, be driven by results and accountability.
Have excellent customer service and client relationship skills.
Excellent communication skills, you must be comfortable to pick up the telephone and have detailed conversations with our clients. Our client's businesses are in the manufacturing or automated distribution sectors.
Be a great listener, be genuinely curious to find out more about people's skill and desires for a new job.

What is it like to work for us?

You would be working for Stuart Cooper who is an experienced Recruiter but also a trained engineer (he has a great reputation in the business - his clients love his detail and technical knowledge). The rest of the team are hardworking, commercially aware and driven to deliver excellent results. But we also like to have fun (JCB mud runs and tobogganing together).
