Working within the Customer Success Team your main responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to maximise revenue renewals. The company use a specialist software system to gauge customer satisfaction and loyalty and part of your role is to address any issues which may lead to customer attrition. The focus is to improve the customer journey and resolve any issues either over the phone or face to face.

You will be responsible for planning and researching information on various customer segments and providing regular electronic communications to customers. Working closely with the marketing team and keeping up to date with the product portfolio to develop a more detailed knowledge of the product set relating to your nominated customers.

Part of your role will be Account Management where you will be a single point of contact for the customer, using a consultative approach and bringing in subject matter experts where required to make sure the customer is excited about our products and how it can benefit them.

Responding to customers quickly and effectively to resolve queries and respond to complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved by offering continued support throughout their renewal process. There will be opportunities for you to upsell and utilise resources to generate incremental revenue and to identify these opportunities.

General reporting of data and making sure all customer details are accurate in CRM to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.

The person who will suit this role will have the following:

  • Experience in a B2B business development or professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work either independently or within a team, be analytical in problem-solving and have the ability to translate business needs into the most appropriate solution.
  • Able to listen, understand and empathise to a high standard.
  • Able to manage own time and work with the manager to set and agree priorities.
  • Customer focused individual with a drive to ensure customers have and continue to have a great Customer Experience
  • Ability to understand and adopt the process of account planning and customer success framework.
  • Working knowledge of contract negotiations is advantageous.

A passport and full, current driving licence is essential, as extensive travel may be required.

A flexible attitude towards business hours is necessary in order to meet customer expectations.
