Payroll and Pension Administrator

Red Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit an experienced Payroll and Pension Administrator on a permanent basis for our clients finance department based in Tamworth.

This role is being recruited on a part time basis, 25 hours per month-days and times can be decided during interviews, this could be across 1-2 weeks depending on payroll deadlines for that period.

Candidate duties will include:

* Ensuring payroll and pension details are accurate and submitted to strict deadlines

* Review absences submitted by HR to the payroll bureau to ensure they reflect the accurate SSP and OSP to be paid

* Liaising with HR to ensure all starters, leavers, hours paid, pay rates, bonuses, pay additions and deductions, SSP and payments are correct

* Updating the payroll and pension providers with personnel changes provided by HR

* Working with production management for hourly production bonuses

* General ledger reconciliation

* P11D preparation and submission

* PSA preparation and submission

* Form 42 preparation and submission

Candidate experience will include:

* A good working knowledge of spreadsheets, as this is the primary medium that the role utilises

* Experience working with third party agencies and thorough understanding of their portal requirements

* Experience with ADP, AEGON and HMRC portals would be advantageous

* Must have the ability to work to a structured timetable

* Have worked within a busy payroll department

Hours of work are to be confirmed during interview.

Starting salary £22kpa to £23kpa PRO RATA plus company benefits.
