Supporting the Supply Manager in developing the companies supply chain through the effective management of the inventory algorithm, in addition tocompleting day-to-day processes.
Working with the company stock levels and purchase order systems, through
understanding the detailed forecasting and purchase ordering processes.
Make changes to the company systems under the direction of the Supply
Manager, modeling proposed changes and working closely with IT to implement.
Develop and run ad-hoc measures, periodic KPI's and reports by extracting,
analysing and formatting data from several company systems.
Work with and provide cover for others within the supply chain team to maintain
the production of these at the specified times.
Run and maintain periodic inventory processes ensuring that inventory remains in
control and service is maintained. These will include purchase order rescheduling
around bank holidays or supplier down time. Seasonal processes and allocations
of stock to customers.
Any other tasks as directed by the Supply Manager
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Familiar with basic forecasting methods and fully
understand supply management processes.
Highly numerate, a sound understanding of basic
statistical analysis, handling large volumes of data.
A high attention to detail, display a great deal of
mental dexterity and creativity and make thorough
use of flow charting and MS Office applications.
An expert level use of Excel is essential and an ability
to write Visual Basic macros an advantage.
Able to communicate to all levels and be
comfortable working closely with a team
