Accentika Internet is looking to appoint a Helpdesk Agent and Technician Apprentice.

The daily duties involve:

* Monitoring a customer enquiry system and responding, under guidance, to customer enquiries.

* Working with a project management system, monitoring customer responses and tasks assigned to the development team.

* Some content management updating of web sites

The Apprentice will be the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls and will also need to respond to customers by electronic means. So applicants need to be comfortable with speaking and writing with a reasonable level of English grammar, and with good attention to detail.

We are looking for an individual who is keen to develop their technical skills, who can work as part of a small office-based team in Malvern, but who is also self-motivated.

We specialise in technical services and the Helpdesk Agent and Technician Apprentice will be expected over time to gain a familiarity with email/web servers, ecommerce etc and internet related technology.

The job would suit anyone looking to start a career in IT systems and software. Any applicant will be expected to demonstrate an interest in, or aptitude for, internet technologies.

Working week

* Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5pm

* Total hours per week: 37.5

Weekly wage

* GBP138.75 - GBP168.75

Training to be provided

* Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprentice qualification together with on site training by the employer.

* For those starting at Advanced (Level 3), the expected duration would be 15 months. There is an opportunity to progress on to the Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) and ultimately on to a Degree Apprenticeship.
