Medicall Recruitment are currently seeking a Nurse qualified Deputy Manager with active NMC PIN for a reputable and respectable Nursing Home in Redditch. Our client is a medium sized care provider with a handful of fantastic Nursing Homes throughout England.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Skills/Qualifications

* Ideally you will be a natural leader with compassion and excellent communication skills

* An experienced Deputy Home Manager with over 2 years previous experience however candidates looking to step up will be considered

* RGN, RMN or RNLD

* You will be required to work under pressure and be able to build relationships

* Proven experience in managing staff teams within a nursing/clinical environment

* Commercial awareness

* Excellent communication skills

* Deciding and initiating action

* Maintaining the homes high standards in line with CQC guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Provide leadership and support for clinical and care staff and act as a champion for resident's safety and dignity

* Work with the Home Manager to formulate strategies for service development or changes in service provision and support implementation

* Provide effective leadership and support for the nursing and care team within the home

* Supervise nurses on a day to day basis and through formal clinical supervision

* Act as a mentor for new nurses joining the team or for those who require specific support to develop clinical skills or knowledge

* Liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure that residents receive the medical and clinical support they require

* Demand high quality service delivery focused on residents individually assessed needs
