The Contracts Manager will work within the legal team and will be responsible for:

·the administration of contracts and the development and maintenance of contract management tools and methods,

·preparing reports and managing record keeping associated with contracts and legal team generated policy and procedure,

·reviewing, amending, drafting and negotiating agreements and standard terms within prescribed limits, and incorporation documents,

·understanding and communicating requirements to internal stakeholders, including data capture of negotiated clauses,

·taking meeting minutes as required,

·assisting with the writing of policies,

·reviewing and commenting on RFIs, RFPs and RFQs received and assisting in preparing tender responses,

·assisting with risk management across the organisation,

·creating and presenting training materials to ensure legal, regulatory and contractual compliance,

·interfacing with the organisation’s management, business development, finance, IT and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with legal requirements and relevant international standards, and also internal policies and standards,

·participation in legal department and cross-functional improvement projects,

·acting as the team point of contact where appropriate.

Experience will include

    A minimum of 5 years’ previous experience of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience Strong understanding of contracts and successful experience in contract drafting and negotiationAbility to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teamsExcellent organisational skills and close attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skills – a strong communicator with all levels of the organisation; excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively build relationships and collaborated with business units you will supportStrong analytical and computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and ExcelExcellent EnglishTo be trustworthy and motivatedExport Control experience
