LT security are now recruiting for a IT Infrastructure Technician Apprentice to join their team to offer First Line support and get hand's on with their products to test and repair.

Daily Duties:

As part of your role as a technical apprentice for LT security, you duties will include but are not limited to:

* Answer Tech calls and log them in the call log software, with first name surname etc

* Learn about CCTV Technology, Networks, repairing Electronics and electronic skills

* Work with RMA's i.e. testing, credits where due and returns returned. All paper work needs to be traceable and done to accounts specifications. (Daily)

* All RMA's that we issue a new unit for i.e. cameras need to be kept on a database with serial numbers and images going forward. So, they can come back out of stock as credit goes back into stock. (Daily)

* RMA figures to be analysed on each product, and fed back to management about any issue with quality etc. etc. (Monthly)

* All new CCTV kit you will need to learn about how it works and implements with existing equipment

Desired skills

This role would suit someone who can demonstrate:

* IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

* Knowledge of desktop and laptop computers

* A knowledge of current software packages

* Communication and team working skills are essential

* An ability to follow direction and complete tasks set independently, asking for help if necessary

* Work constructively as part of a team, understanding roles and responsibilities and own position within these

* You should be customer focused

* We are looking for people who are self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results driven

* You should seek responsibility and be comfortable working under your own initiative

* You will need to be organised and methodical in your approach to work

* Be keen to learn, share your ideas and support change

Working week

* Monday - Friday: 09.00-17.00

* Total hours per week: 37.50

Annual wage: GBP18,000.00

Training to be provided

* Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprentice qualification together with on site training by the employer.

* For those starting at Advanced (Level 3), the expected duration would be 15 months. There is an opportunity to progress on to the Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) and ultimately on to a Degree Apprenticeship.
