About the role:

Are you looking to expand your skills as a support worker and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care?

Our client is a 7-year-old boy who lives at home with his parents and siblings. He enjoys watching T.V, going to school with his friends, going to the Zoo, swimming and playing games with his siblings.

Our client is a typical 7 year old boy who likes being cheeky and having fun. He needs the people around him, including his care team, to treat him as an equal and not as a baby as this causes him to feel frustrated, as does completing the weekly family shop!

You will be sociable and passionate about the care you deliver and keen to up skill and develop as a Community Support Worker.

Ideally you will have previous care experience as a support worker working with children with complex health needs, but this is not essential.

Our client has a brain injury, a tracheostomy and is ventilated via the tracheostomy. He requires oral suctioning; administering nutrition via a PEG feed, cough assist, bowel and bladder management and nebuliser care. We will provide you with all the training you need to assist our client clinically.

Why work for Apollo?

Apollo Home Healthcare specialises in the provision of highly complex care services delivered in our client’s own homes.

We are passionate about delivering the highest standard of care and we recognise that our employees are integral to doing this.

Benefits:

In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive:

- Holiday pay.
- Confirmed rotas.
- Excellent rates of pay.
- Full clinical training specific to your client's needs.
- Opportunity to work with other clients in the area.
- Ongoing professional training and development.
- 24/7 emergency on-call.
