Job Description

We are really excited to be working with a valued Client on the Birmingham/Solihull borders, who are looking for a professional candidate to join their team and provide Sales Support to the Operations Manager.

The chosen candidate would be responsible for the promotion of membership for new and existing customer accounts, and be directly involved in the strategy for the future development of regional activities for the company.

Key Responsibilities will include:

* To work closely with the Operations Department to recruit new members and retain existing memberships, by building relationships with customers

* In charge of producing new leads for the company, and the follow up of leads to convert them into memberships

* Processing said memberships and sending out correct documentation along with maintaining an up to date client database

* To be the customer focal point for the company in an assigned region

* To promote membership services using their own initiative to raise awareness and generate new leads

* Aim to reduce membership cancellations and establish reasons for leaving, in order to improve service

* Help with company events at tradeshows, including liaising with suppliers and organising meetings

* Working side by side with the Operations Manager to plan and execute effective and exciting member engagement campaigns, using your creativity

* Other ad hoc duties as needed

Key Experience needed:

* Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, be professional, and work as part of a team

* Previous sales and customer service experience is essential at either a Junior or Senior level, with the ability to up-sell and close

* Confident and professional on the telephone, able to communicate with a wide range of people

* The ability to organise events, seminars and meetings

* Computer literate
