SCC - Specialist Computer Centres is the leading , independently owned IT services organisation in Europe .
We now have a new and exciting career opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join the Financial Accounting team at SCC as a key member with particular responsibility for cash forecasting and also to be responsible for agreeing and reporting intercompany balances with other group members.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
1. Transfer the existing cash forecast model from Excel to TM1.
2. Develop the TM1 cash forecasting model for SCC
3. Responsible for all bank reporting - in particular the monthly .
4. Support senior managers with working capital reporting .
5. Manage monthly intercompany balance process .
6. Prepare monthly currency forecast .
7. Hedge monthly currency forecast.
8. Prepare debtors and creditors revaluations and deriative contract revaluations in accordance with FRS 102
9. Analyse and report exchange gains and losses each month .
10. Critically appraise existing processes and introduce appropriate improvements .
11. Support senior managers with project to move to a new ERP [D365]
12. Support the annual financial audit
13. Management of a team of 3 people
14. Deputise for manager in their abscence
15. Undertake any ad-hoc tasks or projects that manager may allocate .
1. Individual :
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA).
Excellent communication skills with experience of presenting information to senior management and directors.
Strong excel skills and familiarity with data base
Flexible approach with proven problem solving skill
Experience of a high transaction volume environment
Microsoft D365 experience would be an advantage
