Job Purpose

  • Support Finance Business Partners so they can drive business decision making:through the provision of insight and analysis, and through coordination and modelling in support of business planning, and by providing technical secretarial support to Investment Committees, and by partnering directly with smaller departmernts and functions

Key Accountabilities

For each relevant business area:

  • Provide modelling and analysis in support of:
  • Performance management and optimisation
  • Decision making - such as investments, projects and initiatives
  • Price control submissions and optimisation against price controls
  • Track the benefits of investments, projects and initiatives to ensure they deiver the anticipated benefits
  • Coordinate business planning activities between finance and a business area. Create and manage business planning models. Prepare the financial business plan.
  • Perform the role of technical secretary to the business unit Investment Committees. Coordinate agendas, track actions, produce meeting minutes and maintain any relevant web-based information. Ensure the Committee has the information it needs to make prompt, efficient and quality decisions.
