BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

£60,000 - £70,000 + BONUS + CAR ALLOWANCE + FUEL CARD + Excellent Benefits

Due to expansion, this T1 Automotive manufacturer is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and secure new accounts across the UKI.

THE ROLE

The Business Development Manager will generate new business whilst strategically guiding the wider Sales team to grow existing OEM accounts.

Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

Generating new leads, prospective clients, market and business opportunities
*

Building relationships with new and existing clients
*

Managing the sales process from cradle to grave
*

Competitor analysis and benchmarking
*

Complete customer RFQ’s and liaise with Sales Engineers
*

Keep in mind – at all times – strategic business goals

THE PERSON

Candidates without direct experience in aerospace manufacturing will NOT be considered for the Business Development Manager

The ideal Business Development Manager will have:

An Automotive background
*

4-6 years as a Business Development Manager/Sales Manager
*

Sound relationship builder
*

Ambitious and winning personality
*

Strong contacts across the Automotive sector
*

Full UK driving license
*

Willingness to travel

DESIRABLE

*

HND/HNC, Commercial/Technical Degree or equivalent

THE COMPANY

My client is looking to move into new and emerging markets – specifically, electric and autonomous vehicles. The Business Development Manager will have full autonomy to penetrate a brand new market from scratch, whilst having the opportunity to build on top of an already thriving order book.
