Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their client based in the Walsall area. This ongoing temporary to permanent opportunity offers and immediate start for the right candidate.

As Sales Ledger Clerk for the business you will be;

  • Accurately maintaining sales ledger data including customer records;
  • Processing new credit account applications;
  • Processing inbound customer payments and allocating to correct account;
  • Chasing payment for late invoices, credit control;
  • Preparing and sending out invoices to agreed deadlines;
  • Preparing and sending out customer statements to agreed deadlines;
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving all queries in respect of sales ledger transactions;
  • Responding to and resolving all other enquiries in a timely manner;
  • Filing relevant documentation in an organised manner;
  • Process daily exports and backups as required;
  • Working to achieve departmental KPI targets;
  • Using company IT systems effectively to record all contacts with customers and accurately maintain company records;
  • Must be able to work on own initiative;
  • Attending meetings and training sessions where required;
  • Ensuring compliance with company health and safety policy;
  • Undertaking any other reasonable requests for work as assigned;

The selected candidate will have previous high volume sales ledger experience within a small accounts office. You will be proficient in accounting packages; including excel and be available to start immediately.
