Title: Automotive Coordinator

Department: Automotive Cannock
Reports to: Head of Automotive Department

Overview: Customer service contact for automotive clients

Key areas of responsibility:

- Main contact between our client and automotive customers predominately in Germany via telephone and email
- Main contact between our client in Cannock and other partners and depots within Europe
- Obtaining updates from hauliers that are organising collections and dealing with any arising issues
- Dealing swiftly and precisely with any customer queries or problems
- Ensuring that collections from the plants run as smoothly as possible and are on time

Career Progression:

- This role has the possibility of progression into a junior import planner role with training provided to support development. For the right candidate this will be an exciting opportunity to progress within the logistics industry.


- Excellent organisational skills, and an ability to work under pressure and within a timeframe
- A general overall knowledge of the basic windows packages, and the ability to learn quickly the web portals of the clients
- Be a confident and sharp witted individual, but with an ability to be a member of a team, working in conjunction with fellow colleagues
- Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry is a preference. Much preferred is the ability to be pro-active and be prepared to react to ever changing requirements
- Fluent German language skills are required for this position

- Permanent position with an immediate start
- The working hours are 08:30-17:30 with an hour lunch break, Monday to Friday
- 20 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays
