Procurement Officer (Purchasing) - Solihull based
Salary to £20,000 with excellent Benefits and an Annual Bonus
Working for a Leading UK based Finance Provider in Solihull this role will see you working within our Clients' Procurement area of the business which will see you responsible for ensuring that goods and services required are purchased in a timely manner and in-line with value for money principles.
You will also be responsible for reconciling supplier financial information, supporting records management, and must be comfortable in analysing and working with data.
Other elements to this role will involve tracking and logging invoices received as part of the cost control process and liaise with finance to ensure payments made in time - Also supporting supplier due diligence activities (carry out credit checks, database records management etc.) - Coordinating and tracking returns to ensure payment is not made or credits obtained and coordinate warranties and guarantees to ensure faulty goods are repaired or replaced.
We will need you to show the following experience to be able to perform this role:
- Knowledge of the procurement process within a corporate environment would be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience of purchase ledger activities would be highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical mindset and capability to work with data presenting monthly stats information.
- Strong communicator with high attention to detail.
