Are you ready for the next stage of your career? Team Leader role maybe?

Could you mentor a team whilst supporting people with learning disabilities?

You'll be working as a Senior Support Worker at our registered care service in Ludlow, Shropshire. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week.

In this MacIntyre service we support six adults (aged 29 to 65 years old) with a range of learning disabilities. You will play a key part making sure the people we support can live as independently as possible. You will manage their favourite pastimes and hobbies, making sure they are active members of their local community. Activities they enjoy which you'll be organising might include swimming, walking, meals out, sensory rooms, possible holidays, and musicals.

You'll take your turn working shifts on a 6 week rolling rota, including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins. Shift patterns are 7:15am to 2:45pm, 8:00am to 3.30pm and 2.30pm to 10pm.

Some people require help with intimate care or medication. We will provide you with full training and with day-to-day help and advice from your Frontline Manager.
