The Job: - Mechanical Design Engineer
Hours: - 40 hrs per week
Salary: - Up to GBP40,000 depending on experience

Location: - Kings Lynn
At Select Engineering & Technical we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design engineer on behalf of our client, who manufacture a range of FMCG equipment in Kings Lynn.
The role will be to provide detailed bespoke design drawings using Auto-CAD and Inventor. A background in Structural steel is essential.
You will be responsible for:
• Producing all necessary drawings required on a project by project basis.
• Designing and developing all the mechanical aspects of new machinery and their component's
• Being the point to point contact for suppliers, Clients and business partners
• Initiating, innovating and ensuring products are fit for purpose
The ideal candidate will have an apprentice background and/or may have gone on to be educated at degree level, with a background in designing FMCG equipment.
You must be experienced in working with AutoCAD and Inventor.
Your ability to prioritise your own workload in a fast moving environment and work well within a team is essential.
