Our client, a travel management company, is recruiting a Cruise Product Executive to play a key role in supporting the development of our Need a Cruise Product and be responsible for driving cruise bookings and increase business. The Cruise Product Executive will assist the Marketing Team to ensure that all brands are promoted through a variety of online activities. You will be responsible to ensure that the distribution and delivery of the product offering is consistent and competitive.

Main duties of the successful Cruise Product Executive include:

  • Identifying and building great products for all marketing channels including Social Media, Eshots, brochures, mailers and websites
  • Monitor competitor activity and pricing against our own
  • Ensure the product is built following correct processes
  • Collate and communicate key cruise campaigns from suppliers to marketing and sales team both ongoing and in a monthly round up
  • Ensure all cruise websites are up to date with current offers/campaigns/Sales Messages
  • Ensure marketing cruise plan is kept up to date with supplier activity and funding agreed
  • Ensure that marketing activities are delivered on time
  • Set up groups with key suppliers to give us a competitive edge
  • Ensure that all suppliers are invoiced correctly each month and ensure that marketing follow the correct process in terms of supplier approval
  • Report on sales results from incentive activities, internally and externally
  • Answer calls and ensure that service levels are maintained, calls are answered within a reasonable amount of time and dealt with efficiently and professionally
  • Providing general and specific advice about a range of cruise lines, Worldwide and European travel destinations
  • Meet individual targets for sales and commissions

The successful Cruise Product Executive will possess:

  • Good communication skills by phone email and face to face
  • Excellent knowledge of Cruise product and industry awareness
  • Strong excel skills
  • Good numerical skills
  • Good attention to detail (wording for emails/social media/proof reading etc.)
  • Good organisational skills
