The Role:

A newly created position has arisen to join a long established precision engineering company serving the aerospace industry with a strong reputation for quality and for the development of the engineering team with ongoing training and support.

We are seeking a part qualified and part experienced CNC machinist with setting experience in ideally both milling and turning which will be used as a foundation for further training in programming and high level machining for the manufacture of high value safety critical components for the aerospace industry.

Long term training will be provided on programming, setting and operating a variety of CNC lathes and millers including the latest 5 axis machining centres.

Experience Required:

Minimum requirements for this role are a Level 2 in Engineering (or equivalent) and 2 years’ experience in machining/CNC setting on millers/lathes. Would suit an apprenticeship served/part served engineer looking to expand their skills further into high level CNC machining.

Rate of pay/Hours of Work

Initial hourly rate is £10-£12 hour.

Hours 7am – 3.45 Monday to Thursday (12.30pm Friday)

This is a permanent position (no temp to perm involved)
