We have an opportunity for a diligent Payroll Specialist to join our lively Group HR function and take ownership of the delivery of payroll services across our Group businesses.

The Role

As Payroll Specialist you will have sole responsibility for the timely and accurate input and delivery of a multi entity payroll, providing related services to the business including the administration of employee salary sacrifice benefits, Save as You Earn schemes and delivery of statutory and year end reporting.

You will process monthly payroll for the Group via ADP systems, ensuring entries are accurate, regulatory compliant and in line with internal governance guidelines.

You will take ownership for payroll queries, monitoring a shared inbox and providing responses and actions within agreed timescales and priority order and build relationships with internal stakeholders within the business, developing a good knowledge of internal policies and procedures.

As Payroll Specialist you will be the 'hub' of all employee data and will co-ordinate the flow of data between payroll, HR and business areas to ensure appropriate transfer and maintenance of employee data in line with business needs and General Data Protection regulations and maintained in-line with company record retention policies.

What you will bring

You will be the Group subject matter expert for Payroll therefore must have demonstrable experience in providing a seamless and compliant multi entity service. Ideally you will have knowledge of a range of Payroll and HR systems, specifically ADP and HR.Net with experience of managing 3rd party supplier relationships. You will have expert knowledge of salary sacrifice schemes and the administration of other employee benefits and the reporting responsibilities these bring.

The role sits within the Group HR function and you will operate with the discretion and confidentiality that the role demands.

You will ideally hold a CIPP qualification although studying towards will be considered.
