A new opportunity has become available to be the organisation's subject matter expert, providing associated advice, guidance and support to colleagues within the HR function and managers as required. You will be responsible for making sure the job evaluation scheme and process is robust and managed consistently from initiation through to evaluation and grading.
Main activities:
Co-ordinate all operational activity associated with the job evaluation and grading of job roles within the Council; systems, processes and documentation, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal agreements.
To support the quality assurance of job evaluations and grading through the provision of technical expertise and chairing of grading panels.
Responsible for the maintenance of related manual and/or computerised job evaluation systems, including 'Gauge'.
To evaluate jobs as required under either the NJC or the Hay evaluation schemes.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement, developing recommendations and implementation plans to support the effective delivery of job evaluation and grading activity in the future.
•GBP16.00 to GBP20.00 per hour PAYE
