As a Support Worker, you will be required to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and / or adults with mental health support needs including those with complex behaviours within a supported living setting within Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals who have a genuine interest in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or mental health needs and who want to make a real difference to people's lives.
The job of a Support Worker is very busy, and no two days are the same, it can be very challenging on some days, however, does offer great job satisfaction when helping others achieve their goals in their day to day life.
As a Support Worker, it is essential that you are flexible to be able to work a variety of shifts such as days and nights within a monthly period.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Support individuals to stay safe, taking appropriate action to safeguard their welfare and protect them
  • Provide individuals with support when needed whilst maintaining a person-centred approach
  • Support individuals to participate in their chosen activities ad to access other services and facilities within their community
  • Support individuals to manage their medication responsibly as required
  • Support individuals to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Be respectful to individuals at all times, promoting their dignity, privacy and individuality, ensuring confidentiality is maintained
  • Work as a member of a team
  • Provide personal care if part of the clients support plan
  • Accurately report and record any incidents and accidents to the appropriate persons
