This is an exciting apprenticeship with a business that provides small and medium sized businesses with a professional IT Service. Due to continued growth, we are looking an IT Support Engineer to help support our customer base throughout Herefordshire.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the full lifecycle of support tickets including successful resolution.

* Working towards SLAs and updating customer queries.

* Demonstrate high level of industry specific knowledge when supporting customers.

* Build and maintain professional and positive relationships both internally and externally.

* Identify ways of improving system reliability to minimize incidents.

* Represent the company and its' core values when liaising with customers and third-party stakeholders.

* Follow company procedures and commit to personal development.

* Responsible for providing exceptional service to customers and clients.

* Contribute to the production of technical documentation.

* Escalate issues as appropriate to 3rd Line teams.

* Act as first point of contact for customers via all correspondence.

Hours of work; Monday-Friday 0(phone number removed) with half hour break.

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:

The LMPQ Digital Industries Advanced Apprenticeship - Infrastructure Technician includes 4 internationally recognised Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) qualifications and the City and Guilds Award in Business Process

* MTA Network Fundamentals

* MTA Mobility and Device Fundamentals

* MTA Server Admin

* MTA Software Development

* City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Business Processes

You will be working towards the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship Standard. Functional Skills up to Level 2 in maths or English can be provided where required.

Skills & Experience:

* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications & services.

* Familiarity of Firewall concepts.

* Confident and professional approach to managing workloads as a group and on your own.

* Good all-around knowledge of Office 365 and Exchange.

Personal Qualities:

* An excellent communicator both verbally and orally.

* A positive and approachable demeanour.

* An outstanding and supportive team player.

Desired Qualifications:

The candidate ideally needs 5 x GCSE's grade A-C, or equivalent, to include maths and English. One grade D (3) may be accepted.
