Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Electrical Maintenance Engineer is now required for a market leading manufacturer within the buiding products and services industry to work within their busy site in the West Midlands.
The ideal Engineer for this exciting opportunity will be forward thinking and happy to work within an innovative company with a strong knowledge of PLC systems, with a focus on Siemens S5 & S7.
Joining this experienced team, you will be responsible for the Electrical Maintenance of heavy industrial equipment including Kilns, Burners and Extruders. To be successful in this position you will be expected to have an electrical bias with experience of the following:
- Ability to read electrical drawings and work on control panels
- An electrical qualification including 17th Edition Wiring Regulations or equivalent
- Siemens S5 and S7 to fault finding and modification level
- Previous experience within a similar heavy industry is highly advantageous though not essential
- Coupled with good mechanical knowledge - Hydraulics and Pneumatics
Operating 24/7, Engineers will respond to machinery breakdowns as well as involvement in planned maintenance and project work to develop and upgrade the site. The successful candidate will be working within a small team of Engineers covering a 4 on 4 off 12 hour rotating shift pattern.
In return the client is offering a salary package towards GBP37,000, which includes shift allowance and bonus as well as 21 days holiday, plus 8 statutory holidays, paid over time, pension scheme and access to the company share options.
This role is based within the West Midlands area and is commutable from within and around the following areas: Cannock, Lichfield, and Sutton Coldfield.
