About Our Client

An exciting opportunity exists with my client, a major player in the retail, hospitality and sport sector based in Worcestershire with a recognised national presence who are looking for a passionate Brand Executive with a strong interest in digital executions.

Job Description

Assisting with marketing campaigns across a number of areas within the business, reporting into the Head of Marketing & Communications, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively develop concepts for marketing campaigns and develop creative from a brief to final creative assets
  • Create and produce outstanding designs across print and digital for all areas to include graphical video/animation
  • Oversee delivery of design products from start to end, including conceptualisation of brand campaigns. Such projects will include campaign roll-outs, sub-brand identities, proposal document and image retouching
  • Liaise with the design agency to receive design files and to roll out creative across a number of assets including website, social media, emails and stadium collateral
  • Responsible for the progression and development of the brand guidelines
  • Provide feedback, direction and mentorship for assets generated by external suppliers and agencies ensuring a timely completion of design in compliance with brand guidelines - including Partnership and Retail sign offs
  • To undertake any other duties deemed commensurate with the post and as directed by management and / or the Company

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Fully conversant with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. After Effects would be advantageous
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role either in-house or in an agency environment, with experience of building creative campaign design concepts from scratch through to execution
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in graphic design, design layout and typography for both print and digital media
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • A creative and lateral thinker and energetic team player with a high level of enthusiasm
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise
  • Diplomatic with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to work with initiative and maturity
  • An awareness of and an interest in the sport would be hugely advantageous

Desirable Skills

  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • An understanding of repro, print and production processes
  • Degree or HND in Graphic Design
