We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Screening Technician to join one of the UK's leading Occupational Health Services organisation, as part of their expanding peripatetic team. The role is based in Warwick, so candidates who reside in the Midlands area would be ideally suited for this role.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Benefits include 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, Health Cashback Plan and Perkbox. Salary is GBP21-GBP22k per annum dependent upon experience.

There will be extensive long-distance travel, and weekly overnight stays required as part of the role. Suitable candidates must have the facility to park the mobile medical unit at or near their home address overnight.

The role involves:

Travel across the whole of the UK, driving a Mobile Medical Unit to client sites in order to deliver health surveillance services.
Undertaking health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing
Undertaking health screening procedures, including general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis
Ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded in the occupational health records and passed to the relevant clinical staff
Providing the nursing and physician staff with the biometric information they require to be able to make clinical decisions about patient management
Interpreting results from drug and alcohol testing, for which training is provided.

Suitable Candidates Must Have:

Full UK driving licence
The ability to work autonomously with support from line management
Good computer literacy, numeracy and written English skills
The ability to prioritise own workload and manage own time effectively
The ability to work flexibly, to strict deadlines
An understanding of the requirement for patient confidentiality, ensuring all patients are treated with respect, dignity and privacy
A strong customer service focus and approachability when holding assessments
Previous experience in an occupational health or medical field e.g. ambulance, military medic, offshore medic or occupational health technician.
