As part of this global network of teams, the individual will work within the Regional Activation Hub to help territories and teams effectively qualify opportunities and assign the proper resources to make sure we are winning strategic opportunities...and winning them profitably. This individual will execute firm standardised pursuit processes and management to coordinate local and multi-territory proposal responses. Each Activation Hub member acts as a true consultant that can help the team further build out and continually improve the processes, protocols, collateral, and future roadmap for Activation Hub opportunity management. All of these activities will afford the individual the opportunity to develop relationships and gain exposure to our global leadership, related functional areas (eg, Finance, R&Q, OGC, Advisory Change and Communications) and horizontal/vertical leadership teams within the ONE framework.

Job description

As part of this team, this individual will work within the Activation Hub to support global opportunities, proposal development, and management on strategic opportunities across our PwC competencies. They will collaborate with multiple global teams (eg, Delivery Centres, Impact Centres) to execute standardised proposal processes and coordinate multi-territory proposal responses. They will also work across functional teams to coordinate content development and facilitate resource needs across global opportunities. As one piece of the ecosystem, the proposal manager will drive opportunities from pre-RFP to delivery and orals presentations.

Key responsibility

  • Effectively lead teams on live proposals to coordinate proposal development, submission and negotiation

  • Execute firm standardised proposal processes and management to coordinate multi-territory proposal responses

  • Think strategically about the opportunity and the client to ensure dynamic win themes are developed and presented throughout the document

  • Ability to organise and collaborate with individuals at all levels of seniority

  • Coordinate resources (writers, designers, document production, technical subject matter specialists, etc.) to drive the efficient development of AH proposals

Role Responsibilities

  • Consistently lead and manage concurrently large, strategic RFP responses, including leveraging the knowledge of a professional services firm's operations, internal processes, tools, and support services

  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of key elements, terms, and processes found within a Consulting or professional services proposal

  • Demonstrates thorough ability to build key relationships with account, vertical, and solution delivery Partners and Managing Directors to provide the best value to clients

  • Demonstrates ability to communicate compelling value propositions; manage resource requirements, project workflow, and prepare or coordinate complex written and verbal materials

  • Demonstrates abilities and/or a proven record of success managing up the chain of command working with senior level executives within
    the territory

  • Demonstrates proven ability to develop strategy; as well as write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staff and management

  • Ability to be creative and flexible in thinking and problem solving. Marrying this with the ability to bring experience and knowledge from prior experience to each new opportunity

  • APMP or relevant certification preferred but not required
