Role: Car Sales Executive

Employer: Volvo Cars, Holdcroft - Stoke

Salary: GBP15,000 Basic + OTE (potential salary in region of GBP50,000.00)

The Role:

Our Car Sales Executives are driven to exceed customer expectations, both in terms of service and product knowledge. They're the face of the Volvo brand and are responsible for managing every aspect of the customer journey. Your focus will be to achieve ambitious volume and profit targets, coupled with the sale of additional services such as finance, insurance, accessories and service plans.

This role is ideal for an experienced automotive Sales Advisor or Executive but we would also welcome applications from candidates outside of the automotive industry who possess a track record of success in sales or a target driven environment.

Don't worry if you haven't worked with our brands before, we will give you full product training via our dedicated Training & Development Centre in Daventry.

Successful applicants will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Ability to work independently, and also as part of a team
  • Experience in a sales and/or target driven environment
  • Passion for cars and technology
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Able to provide a first class customer service
  • Desire to succeed and exceed targets
  • Motivated to forge a long term career with the Volvo brand
  • A full UK drivers licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing relationships with your customers, including keeping in regular contact with them about our products and forthcoming events, as well as maintaining a customer focused approach.
  • Prospecting for new customers by telephone, attending product launches and other events, and maintaining your own enquiry database.
  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training.
  • Providing exceptional customer service that leads to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm 6 days a week with every 3rd weekend off in full

Holiday Entitlement: 20 days + Bank Holidays
