Medicall Recruitment are currently seeking a Nurse qualified Deputy Manager with active NMC PIN for a reputable and respectable Nursing Home in Redditch. Our client is a medium sized care provider with a handful of fantastic Nursing Homes throughout England.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Skills/Qualifications

• Ideally you will be a natural leader with compassion and excellent communication skills

• An experienced Deputy Home Manager with over 2 years previous experience however candidates looking to step up will be considered


• You will be required to work under pressure and be able to build relationships

• Proven experience in managing staff teams within a nursing/clinical environment

• Commercial awareness

• Excellent communication skills

• Deciding and initiating action

• Maintaining the homes high standards in line with CQC guidelines


• Competitive rate of GBP21 + Per hour, dependent upon experience/skills

• Provide leadership and support for clinical and care staff and act as a champion

for resident's safety and dignity

• Work with the Home Manager to formulate strategies for service development or changes in service provision and support implementation

• Provide effective leadership and support for the nursing and care team within the home

• Supervise nurses on a day to day basis and through formal clinical supervision

• Act as a mentor for new nurses joining the team or for those who require specific support to develop clinical skills or knowledge

• Liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure that residents receive the medical and clinical support they require

• Demand high quality service delivery focused on residents individually assessed needs
