Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking for a new role? I am currently handling a full time, permanent opportunity with a polymers manufacturer at their site based in Warwickshire.

The Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of polyurethane products including coatings, foams, adhesives and more. They are going through a period of growth and now have a vacancy for an Operations Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and the company offers the opportunity to work as part of a successful team in a stimulating fast moving, high growth operation, as well as a salary in the region of GBP40-45,000 depending on experience. Benefits include a company car, phone and enhanced pension scheme after a year's service.

Location:
This role is located in Warwickshire, easily commutable from Leicestershire, Birmingham, Northamptonshire and north Oxfordshire.

The Role:
Your main duties will be:
-Effective site management
-Managing incoming logistics
-Production management
-Overseeing dispatch and warehousing
-Leading administration operations

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 2:1 degree in Material Science/ Polymer Science/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Considerable experience gained in a chemical manufacturing organisation involving polymers and blending
- Proven leadership skills and excellent organizational abilities
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve tangible results within short time frames
- Based locally to site
