Our client is one of the UK's leading Groundworks and Reinforced Concrete Frame contractors and delivers landmark projects across the UK for prestige Clients and Contractors.

About the role:

Working between two projects in Birmingham City Centre your role will include, but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities

* Work with the Health & Safety Manager to to-coordinate the health, safety, & environmental process for the company, ensuring all relevant areas of the business achieve minimum agreed levels of compliance.

* Ensure all accidents are fully investigated reported to the Health and Safety Executive.

* Writing method statements

* Monitor compliance with the company's H&S policy, organisation and arrangements and hold regular meetings with senior managers to discuss improvements to safety procedures.

* Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters.

* Production of statistical information in relation to SQE performance.

* Maintain up to date knowledge of new or revised legislation and other practical aspects of SQE management.

* Maintain an up to date knowledge of legislation and codes of practice applicable to the company's business.

* Review all Risk Assessments and High Risk activities, ensuring adequate control measures are in place.

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor who has a robust knowledge of contracting and can demonstrate significant successes and a record of achievement in the implementation, execution and development of HSE policy and procedures and the safe delivery of site operations on reinforced concrete frame projects. You must have previous experience with a Reinforced Concrete Frame contractor and have HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH in Construction.
