Head of Children's Services, Newcastle-under-Lyme
GBP60K - GBP70K per annum DOE plus company car, laptop, mobile phone, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme & share save scheme
We are looking for an inspirational Head of Children's Services living close to the Newcastle-under-Lyme area of Staffordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation who provide residential children's services supporting children and young people with physical and/or learning disabilities, complex health needs and emotional behavioural disorders (EBD).
This is based in Newcastle-under-Lyme but will involve regular travel between homes in Shropshire, West Midlands, Staffordshire and Yorkshire.

As their Head of Service, you will responsible for overseeing the whole division and 10 specialist homes in the area. You will lead and motivate each residential management team to ensure the best quality care and education is provided. You will be highly motivated with excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and achieving successful compliance.
What experience & qualifications are required?
  • You will have experience of being a senior manager within the residential sector as well as a proven track record at a senior level;
  • You will hold a Level 5 Leadership and Management, or equivalent;
  • It is essential that you have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
