About You

You will be home based reporting to the Redditch Depot covering the South Midlands area as part of our on-site presence, ensuring that all of our products are maintained in line with the service schedule, and ensuring that any breakdowns are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

As well as being an adept engineer with relevant qualifications, you will be good at maintaining a clean and organised work environment, and great at the associated paperwork. You will be a good communicator, both with the Client, and the team on-site and back in the Redditch office.

The focus of the role

Maintain, service and repair Komatsu Plant machinery whilst maintaining safe working practices at all times. Ensuring that you provide our customers the best levels of service, by regular communication with both the customer and service office to update on progress throughout the set activity.


Attending customers sites to diagnose the reported faults to:

Diagnosing the root cause of the reported fault
Identifying any parts required to carry out the repair so a return visit can be re scheduled.
Completing accurate and timely repair
Completing the specified documentation (RAMS, Job sheets etc)
Carry out a post repair test / inspection on the unit to ensure the unit is operating to expected performance levels

All About You

Key experience:

Experience of working with Heavy plant and machinery.
Experience of working on customers sites
NVQ level 3 in Plant maintenance or equivalent
H&S training carried out in PPE awareness, hand tools
Experience of delivering excellent customer service
Full driving licence
Use of field-based diagnosis tools and equipment
