Commercial Litigator

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Litigator to join an award winning, Legal 500 practice in the West Midlands and be instrumental in driving forward their Commercial Litigation Department.

The position has come about due to the team's ever-increasing workload, hence the Head of Department is now seeking a competent individual who can work unsupervised alongside him and who he can delegate work to, so that the Partner is able to undertake more business development.

The successful applicant will enjoy a varied commercial litigation caseload to include high value, complex commercial disputes, Court injunctions/emergency Court applications, shareholder and/or Directors' disputes, professional negligence, insurance related disputes, partnership disputes, regulatory, white collar fraud and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.

You will be acting on behalf of an enviable client base to include FTSE 100 companies, multinationals, central and local Government and owner managed businesses.

The role is envisaged as suiting a Commercial Litigator who has gained relevant experience with either a national, regional or boutique litigation practice. You are likely to have at least 5 years' PQE, however applications from more junior candidates who feel they have what it takes to fulfil this position are welcome.
