Mechanical Project Engineer Birmingham/ Hereford ***Contract for a minimum of 6 months – immediate start for the right team members*** £30-45 per hour plus expenses The Mechanical Project Engineer will be joining a multi-faceted team to work on a project that is refurbishing and updating a heavy metals facility. Previous experience of designing, building, installing and servicing mechanical machinery, components and tools is required. The successful candidate will be able to problem solve in new equipment installation and commissioning phase, and then implement the changes. The projects range from New Capital Equipment through to enhancement of current equipment. The Mechanical Project Engineer must be able to: Specify the company requirements for the new spec of the machinery Report on the technical aspects of the new and old machinery Work with the Project Management team to take the concept to commissioning through to the start of production Communicate effectively with the client to explain the developments of the project in a non-technical way Install new machinery Assist with the P&ID Understand the current machine and maximize itsefficiencies There are a number of roles available in Herefordshire and the Midlands.
